Sabre Alarm is a cloud-native security platform designed to integrate long-range wireless hardware with advanced software intelligence. It provides scalable, multi-tenant property management, real-time telemetry, and advanced false-alarm prevention techniques typically only found in high-end professional security systems.

We integrate seamlessly with the YoLink (YoSmart) hardware ecosystem, leveraging their proprietary LoRa (Long Range) wireless technology. This provides an incredible open-air range of up to 800 meters (1/4 mile), penetrating walls far better than standard Wi-Fi.

You can purchase YoLink devices from third-party retailers, but we highly recommend buying directly from Sabre Products. If you buy elsewhere, you must request that we manually provision the devices into the Sabre ecosystem. Crucially, you must NOT register third-party devices on the default YoLink app, as this will lock them out of our platform. Purchasing directly through Sabre guarantees the best pricing and ensures devices arrive pre-configured and ready to deploy.

To prevent false alarms from wind or pets, we mount two PIR sensors vertically. Our cloud engine creates a "Double-Hit" AND gate, requiring both the Top and Bottom beams to be tripped within a customizable time window (e.g., 2 seconds) before triggering a full alarm.

Like all professional perimeter security systems claiming to eliminate non-human false alarms, Sabre Alarm utilizes Dual-Beam Coincidence logic. By vertically stacking two sensors, the system ensures that a small animal, pet, or wind-blown branch will only trigger one beam at a time, which the system flags as a silent pre-alert. A full alarm is only triggered when a large, human-sized object breaks both the top and bottom beams simultaneously. This is the exact same proven principle used by high-end industry suppliers to successfully filter out non-human triggers.

Sabre Alarm features a dedicated Walk Test mode. You can toggle this on to test all sensors on your property. Sensors remain in a "tripped" status on your dashboard without triggering audible sirens or calling armed response.

Yes, but it requires backup power. A backup battery/UPS can be supplied at an extra cost. It is highly recommended to supply backup power to both the Hub and your Internet Router, as they must both remain powered to communicate. While most fibre connections remain operational during load shedding on the provider's end, you must keep your local router, Hub, and phone online to receive alerts. The cost depends on the capacity of the backup power supply you choose.

Yes, you can manage multiple locations from a single app. However, devices deployed outside of a 1km radius from your primary gateway are classified as a separate site. This requires a secondary subscription, unless specific approval is granted by Sabre. Both sites will remain seamlessly accessible through your unified Sabre dashboard.

No. Sabre Alarm offers true multi-tenant autonomy. While you can run the property as a single system, the optimal setup grants each tenant independent control over their specific sensors. You retain master oversight of critical elements like physical sirens and armed response triggers. Both you and the tenant can configure custom schedules, triggers, and alerts independently. This ensures your tenant has full privacy and control over their space, while your overarching property security remains uncompromised.
